Another 1-goal game in Vancouver as the Canucks beat the Bruins 1-0 with pro-flopper Maxim Lapierre scoring the only goal of the game, 4:35 into the third period. This was a tough loss for the Bruins as they had some good chances and just couldn't bury them on Luongo. The Canucks defense played much better than the previous two games and were much more physical.

Tim Thomas made 24 saves on 25 shots. Thomas is now 14-9 with a 2.07 GAA and a .937 save percentage in the playoffs.

The Bruins led the game in shots 31-25. The Canucks led the game in faceoff wins 34-31 and hits 47-27.

Notes from the game
The Bruins power-play again hurt them as they went 0 for 4. The Bruins penalty killing did a good job killing all 3 power-plays that the Canucks had.

Patrice Bergeron went 13-13 in the faceoff circle and had 6 shots.

Zdeno Chara and Dennis Seidenberg were both on the ice for Lapierre's goal. The first line of Lucic-Krejci-Peverley were also on the ice for the goal.

Tyler Seguin looked good for the limited time he got (9:02) as the guys on NBC kept saying to put him on the ice more, which in the third period Claude Julien used Seguin on the first line a few times.

Milan Lucic led the Bruins in hits with 4.

Onto the next one
Game 6 is on Monday in Boston at 8pm ET. The Bruins still need 2 more wins to bring the Cup to Boston.
