There were probably many players who were hurt with some kind of injury during the playoffs and managed to still play. Two of those players were Bruins Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton.
Lucic had a sinus infection late in the season and in the first-round of the playoffs against the Montreal Canadiens. Then in the Bruins-Lightning series, during a Bruins practice, Lucic took a shot off his right foot from Tyler Seguin, which would give Lucic a broken big toe. In 25 playoff games, Lucic had 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points. He was +11, had 63 PIMs, 1 power-play goal, and 56 shots.
Horton played the entire playoffs with a serious separated shoulder that was re-aggravated during Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 21 playoff games, Horton had 8 goals and 9 assists for 17 points. He was +11, had 35 PIMs, 1 power-play goal, 3 game-winning goals, and 52 shots.

"I always said along the way that it didn't matter how I played as an individual," Lucic said Sunday as the Bruins gathered for breakup day at TD Garden. "Luckily we had more wins there than losses so I could get criticized a lot less."
"I was letting the pressure of the expectations get to me. ... I was forgetting all the things I did that led to me scoring 30 goals [during the regular season]," he explained.
Lucic is going to rest the big toe and then later this summer have surgery to fix his nose, which hasn't been set properly since he broke it in his rookie season.

"If you get hurt in the playoffs, it's just a thing. That's what everybody says, you play through it," said Horton Sunday during the Bruins' break-up day at TD Garden. "Obviously, it didn't feel good, but you just play through it. That's it. Everyone does it and I'm no different."
