Boston-Montreal tonight, get ready!

Ok enough with the Canucks and all that. Time to get ready for tonight's Bruins game against the hated Montreal Canadiens. After reading some of the comments by Montreal players I'm not hating them as much right now. Ok that's a lie, I still do not like them. But it's interesting to hear some of their comments about the Bruins and the way they play. Check it out.

Quotes from Montreal players
Max Pacioretty was asked if he finds the Bruins to be dirty:
"No. They play a certain way and I think that's why they're successful. To some extent, I wish we played a little more like them. Maybe not as much as they do, but they're definitely an intimidating team to play against. They have so many guys who can step up - I'm not talking about fighting — I'm talking about physical. You watch the games recently in the NHL, and there's not many pretty plays happening. They're all tough, grinding goals, and a big body presence. I think that's why they're successful this year."

P.K. Subban on the Bruins:
"They're in your face, you know what I mean? They've had a lot of success over the year. They're Stanley Cup champions, and they're playing some good hockey this year. Whatever they're doing, they're doing something right. Whenever you play them, you know they're going to be in your face, they're going to finish their checks and they're going to work hard."

"They've got some tough guys on that team. Some real tough guys. They play the game hard. Our team, we're not built to kind of brawl it out every night. We're going to stick up for each other as a unit as a group."

Josh Gorges on the Bruins:
"[The Bruins] aren't a team where you say 'we better have our heads up because they're going to do something dirty.'

"[Bruins] are a hard team. They're a physical team. If you get a punch in face after a whistle that's not dirty. That's hockey"

All-Star news
In Bruins news, Tim Thomas (voted in), Zdeno Chara and Tyler Seguin will be going to the All-Star game this year. Congrats to all of them. You can see the entire All-Star roster on NHL.com here. It's too bad Patrice Bergeron wasn't named to the All-Star game but who knows maybe somebody won't be able to make it and Bergeron may get a call?
