Tonight's Devils-Bruins game had its ups and downs but the Bruins managed to pull out an overtime win and get the two points they need, beating the Devils 4-3. The Bruins dominated the first period and led 2-0 after it. The second period was dominated by the Devils as the score was 3-2 Devils after the period. In the third period, it was mostly the Bruins as they were able to tie up the game 3-3. In overtime, David Krejci would score his 3rd goal of the game to win it for the Bruins, getting his second career hat trick. Bruins coach Claude Julien switched up his first two lines for this game as he put Lucic-Krejci-Seguin together and Rolston-Bergeron-Marchand together. The Lucic-Krejci-Seguin line paid off as they scored all of the goals while the Rolston-Bergeron-Marchand line didn't seem to work out that well.

Scoring summary
In the first period, David Krejci scored his 14th goal of the season giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead. Shawn Thornton dropped the gloves with Eric Boulton and they had a good spirited fight trading punches. Thornton got the better early on and Boulton came back late.
