Bruins remain undefeated at home, beat Islanders

In a game where at times the New York Islanders looked to take the play to the Bruins, the Bruins came through in the third period to take the lead and keep it. Rookie Dougie Hamilton recorded his 1st NHL 2-point game as the Bruins went on to a 4-2 win.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Shawn Thornton scored his 1st goal of the season, making it 1-0 Bruins. A little later, Bruins Milan Lucic dropped the gloves with Islanders tough guy Matt Carkner after Carkner looked like he issued Lucic a few challenges. Tuukka Rask played in net for the Bruins and made 24 saves on 26 shots. Rask is now 3-0-1 with a 1.96 GAA and a .925 save percentage this season.
