Wednesday was breakup day for the Bruins where we found out about some of the injuries that Bruins players were playing through during the playoffs and also some news about some players that will not be coming back for next season.

Injury news
For Patrice Bergeron, besides the cracked rib, torn rib cartilage and separated shoulder, he also had a small puncture in one of his lungs.

Captain Zdeno Chara was playing with a painful hip pointer injury.

Dennis Seidenberg had a pulled hamstring vs the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also had a bone spur in his right elbow.

Tyler Seguin said he had something that's been bothering him for most of his life. Could it be his hips? Didn't we hear about that after last season?

Nathan Horton will have surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder.

Peter Chiarelli said that he hopes to re-sign Nathan Horton and Tuukka Rask. He also said that once Rask is signed, he will work with backup goalie Anton Khudobin to get him re-signed.

Saying goodbye
Chiarelli told Andrew Ference, Jaromir Jagr and Jay Pandolfo that they will not be re-signed, due to the salary cap.
