The Bruins stole two points away from the San Jose Sharks Thursday night as the Sharks outplayed the Bruins in almost every way but Tuukka Rask kept the Bruins in the game to give them a chance. Somehow, some way, David Krejci deflected an Adam McQuaid shot and it crossed the goal line as the clock went under one second in the third period to get the Bruins the win. That was just amazing.

As Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley mentioned in the broadcast, this game was very similar to the Avalanche-Bruins game on October 10th, where the Bruins outplayed the Avs but the Avs found a way to win, as the Bruins found a way to beat the Sharks Thursday.

Quick game summary
In the first period, no scoring happened.

In the second period, Bruins Jarome Iginla scored his 1st goal of the season and 1st as a Bruin, making it 1-0 Bruins.

In the third period, Sharks Patrick Marleau scored 18 seconds into the period, tying the game 1-1. And as mentioned above, with less than a second left in the period, Bruins David Krejci scored his 2nd goal of the season, making it 2-1 Bruins.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net for the Bruins and made 38 saves on 39 shots. Rask is now 6-2-0 with a 1.26 GAA and a .957 save percentage this season. Those are incredible numbers.

The Bruins led the game in hits 30-17, faceoff wins 33-24 and blocked shots 18-13. The Sharks led the game in shots 39-17. Both teams went 0-for-1 on the power-play.

Player notes
Matt Bartkowski was a healthy scratch and Jordan Caron was in the lineup because of Loui Eriksson's injury. Caron skated on the third line with Chris Kelly and Carl Soderberg, while Brad Marchand moved up to the second line with Patrice Bergeron and Reilly Smith.

Onto the next one
