Bruins sign Simon Gagne to 1-year contract

Today the Bruins announced that they have signed veteran forward Simon Gagne to a 1-year, 1-way contract worth a cap figure of $600,000.

We'll see what the injury-prone 34-year old Gagne can do for the Bruins but don't expect him to be the offensive savior the Bruins need right now. In 2012-2013, he played 27 games for the Philadelphia Flyers and had 5-6-11 totals.

The Bruins have also sent Bobby Robins and Jordan Caron down to Providence (AHL).
