Joe Morrow and Zach Trotman were scratched and did not play.
Adam McQuaid injured
In the second period, Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid was hit from behind by Capitals AHL tough guy Zach Sill and no penalty was called on the play. Blind refs are blind. The hit sent McQuaid's head into the glass and McQuaid stayed down on the ice. We hope McQuaid does not have another concussion from the hit as it seems every season McQuaid takes a dangerous hit from behind and is out of the lineup for an extended period of time. Today it was announced that Capitals Zach Sill has been suspended for two games. Watch the NHL video below of the suspension.
