Capitals beat Bruins in overtime 2-1

Capitals Tom Wilson vs Bruins Adam McQuaid, on March 5, 2016. Watch the game recap video here.
Last night the Bruins took on the best team in the league, the Washington Capitals, and managed to get a point as they lost in overtime.

Quick game summary
In the first period, Bruins Patrice Bergeron scored his 26th goal of the season, making the score 1-0 Bruins. Later, Bruins Adam McQuaid dropped the gloves with Capitals Tom Wilson after Wilson made a questionable leg check on Bruins Loui Eriksson.

In the second period, Capitals Alex Ovechkin hit Bruins Kevan Miller from behind and Miller was on obvious pain, as he was holding his shoulder on the way to the dressing room. Miller did not return to the game and was transported to the hospital. Somehow Ovechkin only got a 5-minute major for the cheapshot, no misconduct, no game misconduct. That is called special treatment for a star player. We all know if someone like Marchand or Rinaldo did something like that, they would have been given a game misconduct. Later, Capitals Karl Alzner scored, tying the game 1-1.

In the third period, no scoring happened.

In overtime, Capitals Matt Niskanen scored, winning the game 2-1.
