Bruins beat Sharks in Bruce Cassidy debut

New Boston Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy picked up his first win in his first game as Bruins coach. The Bruins capitalized on their power-play and Patrice Bergeron led the Bruins to a 6-3 win over the Sharks. Bruins captain Zdeno Chara was out of the lineup due to illness.
