Bruins Patrice Bergeron wins the 2017 Frank J. Selke Trophy
Yesterday Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron won the 2017 Frank J. Selke Trophy, which every year is awarded to the "forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game." Bergeron beat out Ducks forward Ryan Kesler and Wild forward Mikko Koivu.

This is Bergeron's sixth straight season being named as a finalist for the 2017 Frank J. Selke Trophy. This is also Bergeron's fourth time winning the 2017 Frank J. Selke Trophy, which ties Montreal's Hall of Fame forward Bob Gainey, as the only two players in NHL history to win the award four times.
