Bruins beat Montreal in shootout 4-3

On Saturday the Bruins had their first meeting this season with their hated rivals, the Montreal Canadiens and it was also the first time now Montreal coach Claude Julien was facing his former team since his firing. It was a good back and forth game that would eventually go into a shootout where surprisingly the Bruins would come out on top 4-3.

Quick game summary

In the shootout, in the first round, Canadiens Paul Byron scored and Bruins Jake DeBrusk scored. In the fourth round, Bruins Brad Marchand scored to win it for the Bruins 4-3.

Game notes
Tuukka Rask played in net and made 27 saves on 30 shots. Rask is now 15-8-4 with a 2.25 GAA and a .919 save percentage this season.
